The lithography drawings were created during an Artist in Residence at Ink Masters, Cairns. It was the first time I have done lithographic prints and was under the teaching of master printer Theo Tremblay.

​

The inspiration for the pieces were developed from my photographic diary during one of my artist sabbaticals on Kerriri, Zenadth Kes (Hammond Island, Torres Strait Islands). Whilst on Kerrir, I stay in a house built by my Athe during the 1960's from recycled and locally sourced materials. I am surrounded by Country and signs of the lives once lived there. Now in the care of my Uncle I am blessed to be able to return and stay in the house.
